Blurring of boundaries between school and law enforcement worry some parents

With police officers routinely assigned to many schools, the legal boundaries between schools and law enforcement have blurred, civil libertarians say. School district policies tend to vary widely, including the portions that detail how, when, or even whether parents will be notified if their child is questioned by school officials with law enforcement present.
