Donation may enable Seattle university to build performance hall

A former Seattle Pacific University professor has left the campus $4.83 million, which the school may use to build a performance hall. Winifred Weter, a classics professor for four decades, died in January 2006 at the age of 96. Her cash gift is among the largest the university has ever received.
