Tennessee district tightens policy on use of district equipment

The Shelby County (Tenn.) district has revised its policy to prohibt employees from borrowing and taking home school-owned equipment such as computers and television. The change comes after an embarrassing revelation last fall that a former principal bought a small riding lawnmower with school football funds and had it delivered to his home.
