From The Indianapolis Star: The Sheridan (Ind.) district has opened the community's first new building for elementary students in nearly 80 years. The $22 million, 104,000-square-foot Sheridan Elementary School has 515 students enrolled in Grades K-5. The school replaces Adams Elementary, which closed at the end of the 2009-10 school year. The three-story schoolhouse opened as a K-12 school in 1932.
