Sidney (Neb.) district to get new high school

The Sidney (Neb.) district has won approval of a $15.8 million bond proposal. The funds will enable the district to build a new high school. The measure passed 53 to 47 percent in what was Cheyenne County's first-ever mail-in election. District officials are aiming for the new school to be ready for the 2009-10 year.
