From The Sacramento Bee: Skype, a free video calling site, has evolved into an instructional tool that teachers are adapting for new purposes. It is being used to take students on virtual field trips and as a resource for teachers to share ideas. The new Skype in the Classroom network has more than 10,000 teachers.
