Connecticut high school to get solar power

From The Hartford Courant: The town of Glastonbury, Conn., will be installing more than 1,000 solar panels on the roof of Glastonbury High School this winter. The 250-kilowatt system will provide the school with 20 to 30 percent of its power needs and has the potential to save more than $35,000 a year in energy costs. The system should be ready to generate power by February.
