South Carolina bans ads on public school buses

No local districts have displayed bus ads

The South Carolina Board of Education has voted to ban advertising on public school buses. No buses currently have advertising, but the board passed the ban as a preventive measure. Officials had estimated that school bus ads could have brought in $10.6 million in new revenue.
