State numbers have rebounded after years of decline

From The Sioux Falls Argus-Leader: After years of declines, public school enrollment in South Dakota has begun to bounce back. Driven by record-high kindergarten classes in and around Sioux Falls, total K-12 enrollment statewide started to rebound in fall 2006. Enrollment has grown by a modest 3 percent statewide since then. But elementary school head counts and birth statistics indicate more dramatic enrollment growth is coming.
