South Dakota school plans high school renovation

Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Grove will get addition

Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, S.D., is planning $2.5 million addition and renovation to its high school. This is the first building project committed to an academic space in more than 20 years. The new high school wing will feature an eco-friendly facility for the science and Lakota studies programs, as well as socializing and office space for students and faculty. The new addition is slated to be ready in 2009. The architect is Encompass Architects.
