Student fee increases will pay for facility improvements at South Dakota technical institutes

From The Pierre Capital Journal: The cost of courses will keep going up during the next few years for more than 6,000 students who attend South Dakota’s four publicly-operated technical institutes.Fee increases will pay for construction of more new buildings and for maintenance and repair at the campuses in Mitchell, Watertown, Rapid City and Sioux Falls. So far, $33 million of projects have been financed, including $7 million at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, $11.5 million at Mitchell Technical Institute, $3 million at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls and $11.5 million at Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City.
