Bonds approved in South Portland, Maine

From WCSH-TV: Residents in South Portland, Maine, have approved a $5.8 million bond proposal that will pay for renovations to South Portland High School, Mahoney Middle School and Memorial Middle School.

EARLIER:

From the South Portland School District: Voters in South Portland, Maine, will decide on June 9 whether to approve a $5.83 million bond proposal. The money would pay for for renovations of South Portland High School, Mahoney Middle School and Memorial Middle School. The proposed improvements address health and safety issues, ADA compliance, and updating mechanical and electrical systems to bring buildings up to code.
