From The New Orleans Times-Picayune: A new building at West St. John Elementary School in Edgard, La., is set to open next month. The two-story building has floor-to-ceiling windows and will house a media center, including the library, and a computer lab. The St. John the Baptist Parish School District used funds from a 2008 bond to pay for the $11 million project.
