Former St. Paul (Minn.) school employee pleads guilty to stealing funds

From The St. Paul Pioneer Press: A former St. Paul (Minn.) Public Schools employee has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $81,000 from the district. Authorities say James Allen Elwood, who worked in accounting, tapped district funds to pay his home energy bills. He pleaded guilty to felony theft of public funds of $81,087.68 from January 2006 to August 2009.
