St. Tammany (La.) district raises fee schedule for architects

Officials say the change will help it be competitive with other school systems

The St. Tammany Parish (La.) School Board has adopted a revised fee schedule for architects that officials say will help the system remain competitive. The new schedule will set architects' fees on a sliding scale based on the overall cost of a project. The fee schedule was just one of many changes approved in the district's standard architectural services contract, which has not been updated since 1975.
