Staff members at Sacramento middle school say it needs a new name

Critics say the man for whom Goethe middle school is named was a white supremacist.

Two staff members at C.M. Goethe Middle School in Sacramento, Calif., are leading a campaign to persuade the school district to remove Goethe's name from the school. The workers say Goethe was an unapologetic white supremacist whose views insult the children attending the school named in his honor.
