Texas parents will get one-hour notice for child's steroid testing

Parents in Texas who want to witness their child's random drug test for steroids will have one hour to arrive at the student's school under proposed guidelines from the University Interscholastic League. Texas lawmakers this year passed legislation mandating the steroid testing of high school athletes beginning in the 2007-08 school year. The Interscholastic League says it is uncertain when the testing program will begin.
