Voters in Michigan district reject $9.3 million bond issue

St. Louis (Mich.) school district voters have rejected a $9.3 million bond for building, educational technology, buying school buses and site development.

EARLIER:The St. Louis (Mich.) school district is seeking voter approval of a $9.3 million bond proposal. The bonds would provide funds to improve energy efficiency, security and technology in district; install new roofs and boilers; improve playground and athletic facilities and address other building maintenance issues.
