Student arrested in Missouri school bomb threat case

Students at Gower, Mo., high school have missed parts of six days of classes because of threats.

Authorities have arrested a high school student in connection with a string of bomb threats in the East Buchanan (Mo.) School District. The juvenile’s name and age have not been released. But police say he is a student at East Buchanan High School in Gower, about 40 miles north of Kansas City. Authorities the student was responsible for leaving at least some of the notes stating that a bomb was planted at the high school. The threats started Nov. 13 and occurred each school day through Tuesday. Students have missed parts of six days of classes because of the repeated bomb threats.
