Michigan district seeks OK for $75 million bond package

The Swartz Creek (Mich.) district has scheduled a $75.8 million bond proposal that would pay for a new high school and auditorium, and other improvements. The proposal, which will on the ballot in February, is $20 million less than a package that voters rejected earlier this year. The existing high school would be converted to house grades 7 and 8, and the existing middle school would be converted to house grades 5 and 6.
