Special-education teacher shot to death at Tacoma elementary school

From The Tacoma News-Tribune: A man reportedly infatuated with a special education teacher in Tacoma, Wash., shot the woman to death outside an elementary school. The gunman later was shot dead by a Pierce County sheriff's deputy. The initial shooting occurred about 7:30 a.m. at Birney Elementary School, where the victim helped teach reading to kids with learning disabilities. The 30-year-old teacher was identified as Jennifer Paulson. She died at the scene.
