Union, board agree on four-year contract

From The Lake Forester: Teachers are back in classrooms at Lake Forest (Ill.) High School after reaching a tentative agreement with the school board on a four-year contract. Specifics of the agreement will be presented to the Lake Forest Education Association membership for ratification and then to the school board for approval. It's unclear whether the Illinois State Board of Education will allow the district to count the two days of classes that the district held this week in the teachers' absence.
