17-year-old convicted of using brass knuckles to beat teacher

From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: A 17-year-old has been sentenced to spend anywhere from a year or until he is 21 in an Ohio Department of Youth Services facility for assaulting a business teacher last year at South High School in Cleveland. Teacher James Cappetto testified at the student's trial that he was punched with what he said were brass knuckles, as he shielded other students during a gang fight at the school. Cappetto suffered a fractured skull and six broken vertebrae.
