Texas bus driver acquitted in death of 9-year-old girl

A former Pasadena (Texas) Independent School District bus driver has been acquitted of manslaughter charges in connection with the death of a 9-year-old girl who was fatally struck by a bus. Ruth Young, 9, was killed in August 2005 as she was riding her bicycle near an elementary school. Jurors said after the trial that they believed the girl's death was an accident and not caused by reckless driving.
