Texas teen charged with threatening to blow up high school

Authorities found threats posted on web sites.

An Ore City (Texas) High School student has been charged with posting death threats on a web site and verbally threatening to harm students at the school. Michael Lee Hickson, 17, a junior, had been expelled earlier from the school after threats were discovered on Web sites. Prosecutors say evidence was uncovered in HIckson's bedroom that would indicate he had considered carrying out the threats at least a year earlier.
