Texas School for Blind to get overhaul

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is getting a $100 million-plus overhaul. The projects in the works include student housing, a student activity center, a elementary physical education and therapy building, a vocational building, independent-living apartments, a track-and-field facility and indoor pool. The architect for the first of the new student housing facilities is Halff Associates.
