500-seat facility in Birmingham will cost $7.6 million

From The Birmingham News: The Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham is building a new $7.6 million, 500-seat performance theater. The 19,200-square-foot expansion of the school's campus will include a sound and light booth large enough for teaching 15 students at a time, a fly tower for changing scenery, a green room, restrooms and dressing rooms for performers, audience restrooms, and a scene shop for designing sets. The architect is Live Design Group.
