Michigan Future already opened 3 schools this fall

From The Detroit News: A nonprofit think tank has plans to open three new high schools in Detroit next fall. The schools will be part of Michigan Future Inc.'s Accelerator program, which aims to give students higher-quality options. Detroit Delta Preparatory Academy for Social Justice and Detroit Leadership Academy will be charter schools, says Lou Glazer, Michigan Future president. It's undecided if the third school, Schools for the Future, will be a charter. Michigan Future opened three schools this fall: Dr. Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine, the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy and Detroit Collegiate Prep.
