Harlandale board decides to close Harlandale High after receiving a threat of violence

From The San Antonio Express-News: Harlandale High School in San Antonio, Texas, is closed today while the school district officials and police investigate a "credible threat" made against the students and staff of the campus. The decision was made after the Harlandale Independent School District board members discussed the issue for about an hour in a closed-door emergency meeting that convened at 11:30 p.m. Monday. The board was already at a regularly scheduled meeting Monday night when it received information from the San Antonio Police Department about a threat to the high school. The person who made the threats is an adult currently in a mental health facility. The person was not in the facility when the threats were made.
