Traffic upgrades recommended at University of Hawaii

Consultants recommend extending mass transit system, expanding roads that feed campus.

Consultants for the University of Hawaii at Manoa are recommending millions of dollars in improvements for parking and traffic problems on and around the campus. The consultants say that the university's traffic flow can improve if mass transit is extended to the UH-Manoa campus or if more lanes are added to nearby streets and freeway ramps.
