From The Dothan Eagle: Troy University in Troy, Ala., is planning to build a convocation center. The facility will house the school’s basketball team and have the ability to host other events, such as concerts. Officials hope the new arena will be ready for the 2011-2012 basketball season. The architects are Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood and Populous (formerly HOK Sport Venue Event).
