Authorities investigate whether the two incidents are related

Two fires in five days at the same residence hall at Central Michigan University have officials wondering if a firebug is wandering the hallways. No one was injured in either fire at Wheeler Hall on the Mount Pleasant campus, but in both cases, including the more recent one at about 1 a.m. Monday, the nearly 400 students who live in the nine-floor building had to be evacuated.
