Two performing art centers in planning stages for Las Virgenes district

Calabasas and Agoura high schools will welcome campus additions.

The Las Virgenes (Calif.) Unified School District is planning to build performing arts education centers at two of its high schools. The design and construction budget for the centers at Calabasas and Agoura high schools is $25 million. The district says the facilities will be available for school lectures, "virtual learning" and events for the community at large. The architect is John Sergio Fisher & Associates.
