UC Davis to drop four sports teams

Budget woes force elimination of one women's and three men's teams
From The Sacramento Bee: Four sports teams will be dropped for budget reasons at the University of California, Davis. The school will discontinue women's rowing, men's wrestling, men's swimming and diving, and men'sindoor track and field as of July 1. The loss of the teams affects 73 female athletes and 80 male athletes and their coaching staffs. UC Davis will continue to offer 23 varsity sports, including 14 women's and nine men's teams
