North Florida to get new College of Education facility

The University of North Florida is building a $27 million College of Education and Human Services Building on its Jacksonville campus. The three-story, 98,000-square-foot building will house classrooms, teaching labs, faculty offices, auditoriums, meeting space and student services. It also will include a 6,000-square-foot Disability Resource Center to meet the needs of students with disabilities. The project is expected to be completed in 2009. The construction is Ajax Building Corporation and the architect is Baker Barrios Architects.
