$215 million science facility planned at University of Chicago

From Crain's Chicago Business: The University of Chicago is looking to take on $200 million in debt to finance several projects, including construction of a 265,000-square-foot science building. At an estimated cost of $215 million, the Eckhardt Research Center building will house offices and laboratories for the astronomy and astrophysics departments, as well as a new program in molecular engineering and the Enrico Fermi Institute. It is scheduled for completion in 2015.
