University of Cincinnati student charged with attack on roommate

A University of Cincinnati freshman has been charged with assault after allegedly pouring a hot bowl of chili over her roommate's head. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Nicole Metzgar-Schall, 18, allegedly dumped the chili on Rachel Filler in a dining hall. Filler's scalp was scalded by the chili. Prior to this incident, Metzgar-Schall had been charged with criminal mischief in connection with an incident in the students' residence hall room.
