University of Kansas begins work on $25 million facility in Overland Park

Building will be the third major structure on school's Edwards campus
From The Kansas City Star: Officials have broken ground on a $25 million facility at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus in Overland Park. The 75,000-square-foot facility will be the third major structure on the campus. It will house two 15-seat seminar rooms, two 40-seat classrooms, eight 45-seat classrooms, four 65-seat tiered lecture halls, a 100-seat tiered lecture hall, 36 faculty and administrative support offices, and five computer labs. It also will include a 4,000-square-foot conference center. Construction is scheduled to be completed by November 2011.
