University of Maryland student hospitalized after making threats of campus violence

From WJLA-TV: A University of Maryland student is being held for psychiatric evaluation after threatening on the Internet to go on a shooting rampage at the College Park campus. University police say the student posted statements to websites, saying “I will be on a shooting rampage tomorrow on campus,” “hopefully I kill enough people to make it to national news,” and “stay away from the Mall tomorrow at 1:30.” Alexander Song, 19, of Fulton, Md., was arrested and taken to a hospital for an emergency psychiatric evaluation.
