Workout equipment generates electricity at University of North Texas

From The Dallas Morning News:  When students at the University of North Texas in Denton work out at Pohl Recreational Center, they will be saving the environment as well as working off extra calories. The university  has installed a renewable energy system on 36 elliptical machines that converts energy from a typical workout into electricity and puts it back into the recreational center’s power grid.
