University, school district talk joint project in San Antonio

University of Texas at San Antonio and Northside district would share convocation center

From The San Antonio Express-News: Officials with the University of Texas at San Antonio say the university has entered into preliminary discussions with the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio about the joint development and use of a convocation center. The university and the district would split the estimated $80 million to $100 million needed to build the arena, tentatively slated to seat 10,500, officials say.
