University of Texas-Arlington begins work on mixed-use development

College Park District will include events center, residence hall

From The Dallas Morning News: Officials in Arlington, Texas, have held a ceremonial groundbreaking for the College Park District, a 20-acre project that will feature the University of Texas-Arlington's $78 million events center, student housing, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and parking. College Park, the $80 million retail and residential component of the project, will feature a residence hall and housing for 600 students, along with a large park.
