Federal funds will help build engineering research center at University of Texas

From The Austin American-Statesman: The National Science Foundation is awarding $18.5 million to the University of Texas in Austin for a new engineering research center. The goal is to develop advances in nanoscience that can be spun off as startup companies that will create jobs, fuel economic growth and help Austin become known as a high-tech node.
