Simkins Dormitory will be renamed Creekside Residence Hall

From The Dallas Morning News: University of Texas regents have voted unanimously to strip the name of a former professor from a 55-year-old building because of his ties to the Ku Klux Klan. UT President William Powers asked the UT System board of regents to rename Simkins Dormitory, a small facility near Waller Creek on the Austin campus. The new name will be Creekside Residence Hall.
