Students at University of Texas at San Antonio approve green fee

From The San Antonio Express-News: Students at the University of Texas at San Antonio have voted yes to a $5-per-semester green fee to fund sustainability initiatives such as buying solar panels or turning the gym into a human power plant. Pending approval from the UT board of regents, the fee could generate around $145,000 per semester. The funds would be distributed by a committee of students, faculty and staff who vetted and approved projects.
