University of Vermont begins work on new residence hall

Project will add 403 beds to university's Burlington campus

From The Burlington Free Press: Site work has begun on a new residence hall that will add 403 beds to the campus of the University of Vermontin Burlington. Plans call for an apartment-style complex — a building with two wings of four and five stories, each with 72 units — to be completed by fall 2012. The university houses about 5,500 undergraduates, more than half its enrollment of 10,125.
