$269 million medical research facility planned for UC-San Diego

From The San Diego Union-Tribune: The University of California, San Diego, is preparing to build a $269 million center focused on “translational medicine,” the quest to turn basic discoveries into treatments for human illness. It will break ground in January on the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute.
