$13.1 million upgrade will be completed in 2012

From The Des Moines Register: The Urbandale (Iowa) district is carrying out a $13.1 million project to expand and remodel Urbandale Middle School. Students will attend classes on the campus while the work is done. Officials say they expect the project, which will add a new eighth-grade education wing, a second gymnasium, a new lunchroom and commons area, will be completed in 2012. It will expand the school’s capacity to 900 students from 600.
