From The Chicago Tribune: Over the protests of open space advocates and about 30 neighbors of Chicago's South Shore community, the City Council Zoning Committee has approved a portion of Rainbow Beach Park as the new home of Powell Elementary Paideia Community Academy, which school district officials say has become too crowded in its existing location directly across South Shore Drive
