FromThe Fort Smith Times Record: The Vian (Okla.) School District voters have said yes to a $5.78 million bond issue to fund what school officials say are growth-necessitated improvements. The bond issue will fund an early childhood center, including six classrooms, teacher workroom, restrooms and a common space for multiple-class and group activities. It also will enable the district to build a 600-seat middle school/high school cafeteria equipped with a stage, and band and vocal rooms, a science lab and three science classrooms.
